Mini Series
A number of years ago I lived in an apartment with a small breakfast nook. Since it was such a small little room, I decided it needed small paintings to match. The paintings that came out of the project got lost for a period of about 2 or 3 years until I found them a year ago. I have since adorned them to my fridge.

Tree
I painted this one afternoon when I was still working in horticulture on a tree farm. Learning to identify trees in the winter by looking at their overall form, their bark and their buds is an artform and skill in of itself. I suppose this painting came from that interest of mine. |
Tribute to Van Gogh
This mini was actually my first oil painting. I used Van Gogh as an inspiration for the painting. |
Irish Fishing
This painting was inspired by a Gaelic fish drawing I saw many years ago in Ireland. |
